How our consultations work (free of charge, by appointment, reply within three business days)

Our consultation service runs as set out below. We explain how it works and what it covers so that those enquiring for the first time can apply without hesitation.

How consultations run

  • How to apply: the consultation form on this website, email ([email protected]) or our main line (1588-0303)
  • Hours: Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 (closed at weekends and on public holidays)
  • Reply: within three business days of receipt. If we need longer to review your case, we will tell you first.
  • In-person consultations: by appointment. Please arrange a time by telephone or email before visiting.
  • Cost: free of charge

What we cover

  • A preliminary check of which reports or approvals the project you are preparing will require
  • Confirming the eligibility requirements for the Inter-Korean Cooperation Fund and how to prepare an application
  • Going through your documents as you prepare a report or an approval application

Please note

  • Filing and review are handled by the Ministry of Unification and other competent government bodies. The Center helps you prepare for that stage; we do not guarantee outcomes and we do not file on behalf of those bodies.
  • For matters that call for a legal judgment, such as sanctions on North Korea or export controls, we recommend a separate review by a lawyer or another specialist.
  • Personal data you provide when requesting a consultation is kept for one year after the consultation ends and is then destroyed, in line with our Privacy Policy.
