2026 open call for the Talent Network

The Inter-Korean Exchange & Cooperation Center is widening its network of specialists working in the field of exchange and cooperation, and invites applications to the 2026 Talent Network. Once you are registered, we put you in touch with the companies and organizations we are advising when a request matches your field; you decide each time whether to take part.

Fields

  • International organizations and overseas cooperation: specialists in Korea or abroad with experience of cooperation projects involving North Korea at international organizations, NGOs or overseas foundations (advisory work and introductions)
  • Law, customs and accounting: those with experience of the legislation on inter-Korean exchange and cooperation, customs clearance of goods, or fund accounting (advisory work and participation in consultations)
  • Trade and economic cooperation: practitioners who have run inter-Korean trade or economic cooperation projects themselves (project advice and accompaniment)
  • Society, culture and academia: those who have planned cultural, sporting or academic exchanges, and researchers in related fields (project participation)

Who can apply

  • Three or more years of professional or research experience in one of the fields above
  • No restriction on nationality or place of residence. Those living abroad can take part by email and online consultation.
  • You may register while in full-time employment; each activity is agreed case by case.

How to apply

  • Period: Tuesday 12 May 2026 to Friday 12 June 2026. Applications are also accepted at any time thereafter.
  • What to send: a summary of your experience (free format, one to two A4 pages) and the field you would like to join
  • Where to send it: by email to [email protected], or through the consultation form on this website (select "Talent Network" as the consultation area)
  • Process: we review your material → we propose a time for a consultation (within three business days) → after the consultation you are registered in the network

How the network works

  • We contact you individually when a project we are advising needs help in your field.
  • The terms and any fee for advisory work or accompaniment are agreed case by case with the requesting company or organization. The Center is responsible for making the introduction and is not a party to the contract.
  • Your registration details are used only for making introductions and are not disclosed externally without your consent. They are handled in line with our Privacy Policy, and you may ask for them to be deleted at any time.
