New sections in Notices: "Remarks by the President on inter-Korean relations" and "Press coverage"
We have opened two new sections in Notices. One is "Remarks by the President on inter-Korean relations", which brings together the President’s official statements on inter-Korean relations; the other is "Press coverage", which gathers articles on inter-Korean exchange and cooperation.
Remarks by the President on inter-Korean relations
- Statements on inter-Korean relations and on exchange and cooperation made on official occasions, such as anniversary and commemorative addresses, summit meetings and speeches at international conferences, are reproduced exactly as delivered.
- We post only remarks that appear in official government records or that several news outlets have reported in the same wording. We do not summarise or paraphrase them.
- Each remark is shown together with the occasion and the date, so that the context is clear.
Press coverage
- We bring together the headlines and links of articles from the major news outlets that deal with inter-Korean exchange and cooperation. The articles themselves can be read on each outlet’s own page.
- We choose articles that deal with government announcements, changes to the rules, the operation of the fund, and examples of exchanges at the private level.
How to use these sections
Both sections are meant to help those preparing exchange and cooperation work to see the direction of policy and recent developments at a glance. For the procedures and requirements that apply to an individual project, please refer to the Procedures and Fund pages or ask us in a consultation.
